Lyprinol®

"Lyprinol® is the most powerful anti-inflammatory marine oil available at present. It is superior to conventional pharmaceuticals, vegetable-based omega-3 oils, and other fish oils."

- Georges M. Halpern, M.D., Ph.D.,
Excerpted from:
Lyprinol® A Natural Solution For Arthritis And Other Inflammatory Disorders

Lyprinol® has been shown through clinical research to be an extremely potent anti-inflammatory.

The amount of research conducted on Lyprinol is impressive and quite unique for a dietary supplement. In a 1998 study comparing the effectiveness of Lyprinol stabilized green lipped mussel (Perna canaliculus) with the raw green lipped mussel powder, both forms supported healthy joint function and normal range of motion.†8 The only difference was in speed of action: the Lyprinol extract achieved a more rapid response, demonstrating that the nutritional supplement Miracle form the Sea Lyprinol contains the same key compounds present in the raw mussel.8

To validate the clinical efficacy and safety of stabilized green lipped mussel in supporting healthy joint function and healthy range of motion, sixty participants received Lyprinol at two capsules twice a day. Scores at the four week period demonstrated that 53% of the participants experienced significant support for joint health and range of motion.† At the completion of the eight week treatment period, scores had increased dramatically, demonstrating that 80% of the participants experienced enhanced support of joint function and range of motion.†10 There were no reported adverse events.10

Since many of the currently used anti-inflammatory drugs, in particular the non-steroid anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID), function via the cyclo-oxygenase pathway, much recent international research and effort has gone into the development of inhibitors of the second major pathway, the lipoxygenase pathway. Research has demonstrated that the extract of New Zealand green-lipped mussel in Lyprinol functions as a 5-lipoxygenase pathway inhibitor.

In recent research, Lyprinol was compared to flaxseed oil, evening primrose oil, salmon oil, and fish oil.

On a dosage per body weight basis, Lyprinol® was demonstrated to be:

100 times more potent than fish oil
125 times more potent than green lipped mussel powder
175 times more potent than evening primrose oil
175 times more potent than salmon oil
200 times more potent than flaxseed in supporting healthy joints†11

Unique among nutritional supplements, Lyprinol shows evidence based nutritional support for healthy joints and bronchial airways.† Ongoing clinical studies have demonstrated Lyprinol to be safe and effective.

There is little doubt that Lyprinol® can provide a potent means of controlling and inhibiting the damage caused by the excesses of the body's inflammatory responses.

Dosing: Initially take 4 softgels per day. 2 in the morning and 2 at night with meals for approximately 3-6 weeks after which the intake may be reduced to 1-2 softgels per day.

The initial dosing period allows allows Lyprinol to maintain a constant presence in your body. After you start seeing and feeling the benefits of Lyprinol, you can reduce your daily dosage to 1 softgel in the morning and 1 softgel in the evening.
